Canoeing
Klarälven is the largest river in the Sweden. This river is perfect for a nice canoe trip. Sweden is really worth to be explored from the water. You can then experience more of the beautiful nature and ultimate relaxation.
Fishing
The Värmland province is rich in lakes and rivers. A wonderful place to throw out your fishing rod. In the five largest lakes of Sweden and along the coast is fishing free. In all other waters, you need a fishing license. A license to fish open water can be bought at the tourist office but some ponds needs a separate license. These can be purchased from the respective lake or in the shop "Route 62" (some lakes, such as more Hagfors).
Biking
Sweden has an extensive road network, in some places hardly used by cars. Ideal for making short or long bike rides. Especially the various forest roads and transport roads within the forest provide opportunities for mountain bikers.
Cycling
Bicycles can be rented for example by camping in Rådastrands. The Klarälvsbanan is a 90 km bicycle path between Hagfors and Karlstad.
Swimming
In Sweden, especially the province of Värmland, has lots of open waters. Almost all the open water in Sweden is so clean that you can swim in it. The Klarälven has special places that are marked from the road. By Hagfors is the lake Rådisjön located, this lake is 23 km long and is crystal clear. Rådastrands camp is situated at the lake and has one of the finest beaches in Värmland which you can use.
Golf
In Sweden, golf is a very popular sport. In Uddeholm, nearby Hagfors, is a beautiful 18-hole golf course. This course is open to everyone and there are no strict dress code. This course also rent golf clubs.
Rådastrand site also offers many activities such as skating, rafting, raft building, canoeing, miniature golf, elk and beaver safaris and Nordic walking clinic's.
